The Oriental horse greatly contributed to the development/raising of the second warmblooded type, which is the English type, raised/mixed by/with the blood of the English thoroughbred; similarly as the Arabian horse is the source from which all the (warmblooded) Oriental type breeds can be refreshed, for the English type it is the English thoroughbred in other words thoroughbred = ”selectively/purely bred” English horse.
